圖書館簡史
館藏資源本館前身為藝術學校圖書室，成立於民國44年10月；於民國49年改為國立藝術專科學校圖書館；舊館使用至民國75年6月拆遷，並於原址重建館舍，77年12月峻工，78年底完成遷移並啟用，總面積為2,272平方公尺。隨本校83學年及90學年度二次改制，教職員生及館藏量亦日益擴充，原有空間已不敷使用，故於95學年度起再度整修、擴建、整建，增加建築面積約2,070平方公尺，合計總面積為4,342平方公尺（1,433坪）為一獨棟六層之建築物，並於99年9月9日新館開館啟用。

Brief History
The National Taiwan University of Arts Library was established in October 1955 as an art school reading room. The library was renamed as National Art College Library as school was reorganized at 1950.

The former library building was reconstructed from June 1986 and was reopened at the end of 1989. The present building was under reconstruction since 2006, and was officially inaugurated in 9 September 2010.
